MOONLIGHT

And in her kind face is a soporific scene.
A beautiful creature at heaven’s gate; with ways of a child,
Tender deeds cling to her radiance.
In her ampleness, she is my glowing stove,
A warm coat in a frozen crowd,
Helping me find a way to Eden through this chasm
At night she is a nest; my rest.
But wandering clouds robes her from me; but only for a moment.
