Even better, you can find low price suppliers and manufacturers. What I love about Alibaba is that you can get samples sent to you to verify that the product is in fact good. You want to make sure that the supplier you decide to work with on Alibaba is assessed and verified.
This will ensure that you’re picking the most reputable suppliers and that you don’t encounter issues down the road. Alibaba protects you as the buyer. They have a service called Trade Assurance, which ensures that the payments you make through Alibaba.com are safe.
Right now Alibaba is offering a promotion called Super September. They are providing 3D showrooms where you can have a 360-degree view of products. With over 18,000 live broadcasts, you can browse through $3.7 million products, interact with suppliers, and ask them questions.

Let’s say that you want to sell blue-blocking glasses. First, you would go to Alibaba.com and type “blue-blocking glasses” in the search bar. I suggest filtering your search so that you’re looking for a Verified supplier that also has Trade Assurance. If you find a pair of blue-blocking sunglasses that you want to order, you can get the supplier to customize the product to your liking.
However, keep in mind that when it comes to customizing orders, you will have to place a bigger order. The benefit of doing this is that you will get the best deals with suppliers and end up making more money. I like to reach out to 5-10 suppliers and get a few different samples sent to me to determine which product I want to get behind.
When it comes to private labeling a product, I encourage you to find a way to differentiate yourself from products that are already selling. With the example of blue-blocking sunglasses, find different lenses or styles. Doing so will allow you to stand out from the competition.
