To quench my huff; I should tell you then; the wild is better.

It is better now that you have staved away despair stirred by the unknown.

Valiantly, my quest has led me back to that single tear,

Where I have been searching in the most beautiful pasts.

Skimpy places I shunned; places that now dangle before my starving eyes.

For I am hewn to my desire and my desire betrothed to you.

I have tussled with gales to perch upon you:

My beautiful branch where berries are ripe and ready.

My misfortune being my wilting feathers; my wings have been battered.

Perhaps I am descending but for you, I am still flapping.

When I fall, it will be death; a seed is sown,

For I need my new innocence, something pure and relished.

Awaken me then, let my eyes be wide enough for your light.

And let your touch be tender on my cracks when I am broken.
