By Tonny Wandella
Satisfaction impedes hunger and colors any feign.
When their bellies run dry; they commence to flog
You to a noose; then hand you to teeth: such task they deign.
Be gallant; however, let the axe split the log.
Saunter ahead, and sing a brave song,
Feed such beasts; but never run out of meat.
For they won’t wait for long,
Be quick, do what need be done, your zeal bestir
Before they churn you out; before you suss the game.
Feed such beasts; but listen to the gong,
Be alert all the same.
And if they pretend to besot you do not belong,
When their spite rages on, do not blanch: this pain
Is another stream to cross: to the other bank: to reign.
